I have this huge shift I have to make. I am here and I have to be there and the transition requires a million tiny errands.
And amazingly, I'm doing it, and calmly. One book, one t-shirt, one wire at a time, all shifting, all it's own little self-contained accomplishment.
Meanwhile, in the back of my head something is screaming out the enormity of the task. I pause, I acknowledge it, and I go back to putting each tiny piece in place.
