News flash: not in Kansas California anymore

From the AP:

"What to do when the rain won't come? If you're Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue, you pray.

The governor will host a prayer service next week to ask for relief from the drought gripping the Southeast.

"The only solution is rain, and the only place we get that is from a higher power," Perdue spokesman Bert Brantley said on Wednesday."

Uh. Huh. Not that I have a problem with praying for rain. Hey, for all I care you can stick your tongue out and hop on one foot to make it rain. It'll be about as effective.

But when the governor is holding prayer services for rain?

All I can say is... 5 more years, 5 more years, 5 more years.

You gotta fight fire with fire. You should announce a prayer service to ask for a higher power to give Perdue his sanity back.

Either that or he's in early stages of dehydration.
