These apartments were supposed to have an open house this afternoon but for some reason the real estate agent couldn't make it out. One of the studios were unlocked though, so I walked in and looked around a bit.
Bamboo floors, lots of windows overlooking a creek, high ceilings, and close to the University as well as some good restaurants and bars. According to the word on the street, the company is getting desperate to sell (for sale signs have started popping up like mushrooms after a rainstorm here).
I'm going back tomorrow (when they should be open, according to the woman on the phone at the realty company) to get a better look and then I'll go from there. If it's financially feasible I think it would be better than renting for the next five years.

Those places are swanky - bamboo flooring is the new black.
Adam - growing up is totally over rated. Turns out you have to pay bills and shit and eating ice cream for dinner totally gives you a stomach ache.
Demi - hmm maybe I'll get a shirt printed up that says "I have bamboo flooring" Just so everyone knows I'm swanky like that.
